Owning your Identity

The power of your 2nd chakra, Owning your identity

The 2nd chakra represents either side of the spectrum, pain or pleasure. It is linked to lack and scarcity or abundance and prosperity. It represents your identity within the world and your relationship to the resources that nourish and nurture, money, food and sex.

It is often modeled, imprinted and developed based on your family systems, their beliefs habits and patterns.

Where lack and scarcity bring upon fear of unworthy, neediness, not enough, hiding, self judgment, hopeless, and a host negative feelings and emotions.

Abundance and prosperity brings with it clarity, focus, a sense of peace, trust and more than enough. It speaks of owning your own identity around your basic needs, money, food, sex.

These 2 sides of the spectrum are designed to have movement~ e-motion, energy in motion. Therefore when you are caught in the current, the flow of emotions you can see, feel and turn your emotions into a powerful transformer of circumstances. Where there was lack and scarcity, identify the relationship, the trigger, the point you feel and how you describe the feeling. From here, begin a process to redefine the feeling. Confront fears, the basis for holding negative feelings and emotions. Take actions that challenge you, scare you and trust, that transforms your feeling quick, it’s an accomplishment, and says yes I can and I do.

Abundance and prosperity is meant to be shared. It’s meant to flow, that’s the true nature of the 2nd chakra when healthy and balanced. You flow, your resources flow freely meaning no negative charge to hold them stuck and stagnant.

2nd chakra is how we relate to our emotions and feelings and how we can flow in the world, our resources and relationships. If you find you get a bit stuck or unsure, find trust, step forward, find pleasure and joy and act. Often the simplicity of giving gets you unstuck. Giving from a positive emotion, no attachment, this is what it means to give freely, non attachment.

Learning to navigate your 2nd chakra will give you a plan of action. It identifies your feelings and emotions and directs you, without attachment, to where to transform and shift your interaction and energy. Energy meaning thoughts, feelings and actions, your beliefs. Once again, often the beliefs were planted by family patterns. As you look, and see, as you decide you want a different outcome, feeling, belief you begin to feel and act from that place.

It begins with giving. With opening up your heart, with finding trust in yourself and freely giving with passion and self love.

It’s where you own your identity. Who you are in the world

It’s a beautiful chakra to have spinning and moving healthy and clear. Enjoy the process

Trust The true power you hold within

Trust

Trust is an interesting topic. I believe we’ve been taught, programmed and accepted that trust comes from outside of self, or even put into another power, a higher power.

Yet, there is so much beauty, Self Love and understanding of Self when one places trust in their own hands.

Here is how I understand trust.

It’s a relationship with yourself from your first, second and third chakras. First chakra relates to safety security and place of home. Second chakra relates to pleasure, joy, community, sense of belonging. It relates to your connection to the outer world through your senses. And, third chakra relates to personal power, your own sense of value and worth.

If your first and second chakras are in relationship to how we need each other in a way for survival, what does the model of needing each other look like for thriving? And if personal power is about self worth, how do you choose to show up valuing yourself.

Trust is a relationship you have with yourself. Your ability to know the ground beneath you, your foundation of safety and security, the way you provide for yourself, the way you honor yourself and the way you value and receive your joy and pleasure, this is based on your Self. The self of you that is unshakeable because of the faith and trust you have in who you are and your own personal intimate relationship with Source. Your connection to the ground below you and the sky above you. Ultimately the currency of Self Love, the currency of trust in Self and your Divine Beingness.

Trust holds the power within you. Trust speaks from your foundation of safety and security. You know you are safe, for your truth and your alignment, your integrity are in relationship with how you feel. Yes, how you feel about yourself.

That’s right, feeling. Do you have self love? Do you honor your word? Do you value yourself? Do you find no need to be right, to judge, to control or get anything? Your feelings of self control, a place of freedom, peace, pleasure and joy is the process through which trust comes through.

What I am saying is, when in the feelings, abundant with who you are, through self control, freedom, peace, pleasure and joy, you gain, you earn trust within yourself. And, these feelings become effortless and easy when you are in your truth. From your truth, you trust.

So this is different than trust outside of self. Trust outside of self looks to others, for others to help, for others to be held with some accountability or responsibility. Trust outside of self will find safe ways, things that have some sort of known, comfort or outside authority. Trust outside of self wants to have a proven system or plan, yet, that plan or system may not match your own inner light, being and self. Therefore, if this proven plan or system does not work for you, when in the community, group or tribe, it affects your Trust in self. It makes you wrong. It makes you wrong rather than looking at the perspective that You Are Not Trusting Yourself.

So what if today, you looked at all the ways you can trust yourself. All the ways you can listen to what makes you feel joy, pleasure, self control, freedom and peace. And look at all the things that you can question your own trust. Is it really your trust in yourself or are you choosing to trust a belief and idea outside of yourself.

There is a place to fit into community and to have safety and security. There is also a way to listen and feel from within your own truth, your own power, your light. And when you do, it opens the gates to the beauty and wealth, of Self Love and Currency of Divine Truth, your own inner knowing, where all things move through you.

Willingness. What Are You Willing to Do?

Willingness is the ability to say yes to yourself. It is the doorway to possibilities.

What do I mean?

In order to go after what it is you want, in order to create changes and change the course of your life, you are going to have to be willing. I don’t use those words often, “have to”. What I know for sure is, if what you are doing is not making you happy or going in the direction you want it to go in, you will have to change your course of action.

Let’s begin with your resources, your money, time and energy. You will need to, have a willingness to place your money, time and energy towards that which you want. Your willingness shows that you desire the changes. Willingness has no attachment. It is an energy that shows up as yes, this is what I want. Willingness speaks of your ability to let go, vulnerability and openness. This is the path to change.

So what are you willing to Do? Often when you get deep in the chaos turmoil, stuckness, or pain, getting out takes a greater commitment, a greater need to settle, create a plan and act, again a willingness to let go of the story and problem and find a solution, this is willingness.

Most people are held back by their inability to be willing, to have courage, to find faith to act from self trust. Think about this. Do you want to be like and considered most people, or do you believe in yourself that you are capable of making the changes necessary to have what you want.

This is a conscious choice, a decision made based on your own self confidence, no one can or will do it for you.

Willingness may go against everything you were taught and believe, and that is what courage is about. Standing up for what you believe in and speaking up. Courage is not tied to outer resources.

This is where most people lose their willingness. Once you begin to talk about money, time, or energy, people shut down, disconnect or turn off. Willingness flies out the window. Willingness, has no attachment, so once again, it opens the conversation to something new and it understands in this new, in a new direction it will take, money, time and energy.

What are you willing to Do? What is something new you are ready to step into that points you in the direction of your dreams, goals, vision and desires?

Creating changes can be challenging, we tend to be programmed pretty good as to what we believe is right or wrong, truth or not truth and what is important.

Willingness breaks through these barriers.

What changes are you looking to create in your life now?

Commitment and the Power in Finding Your Passion

Commitment, the path home

What does commitment mean to you? Does it mean sticking to your goals and plans no matter what? As challenging and difficult as things may look, staying the course to follow through, even though you don’t know how it ends? Or does it mean, finding a different route a different path to get to your end goal?

The truth is who’s path are you following?

There comes a point in your life, when you understand what your commitments look like. I mean what holds the most meaning to you. The depth of the passion in your soul and the fire in your heart to blaze your way towards your desires. Desires, passion, fire- they are all the source needed, necessary, non-negotiable, in going after your desires. So where did or do you sell out?

Where do you stick to the plan others told you to take to get there?

Where do you stay safe in the commitments you made, which have little to do with the true desire, fire and passion of the commitments that hold meaning to you?

Commitments are an unspoken word, an agreement and arrangement with the Universe. It’s a channel a source and path that resources and currency flow through. If you are challenged by your time, energy or money- your commitments are out of alignment with your true desires, your truth and plan. The plan that is in the message of your heart. When you stop and look at what brings you passion, are you doing that? Are you creating relationships, work, successes that fuel and embrace your passion? No?

Then, your commitments are off target.

You see, we are all born with the gift to embrace, enjoy and live our passions. It’s up to you to uncover, expose and explore your passions, even if the ideas seem crazy and outside the box. Finding the truth of your commitments comes from a deep passionate love affair with how your resources are being spent, outgoing. If you followed the path laid out for you, if you succumbed to the idea that having these things would make you happy and commit to this lifestyle and you’re missing happiness and pleasure, depleting your joy, time, energy and money, then you are not on your truest path.

Take a sigh of relief. Now you know. Now you know your happiness had been committed to the ideas and version of life other people told you would give you something or make you happy.

Now, to re-establish your commitments on your own terms. This will look completely crazy and illogical. You’ll show up, embracing places, activities, people and things- activities that will cost you- money, people, relationships and most importantly- the old stuck and stagnant lifestyle you had been living. You will decide that your passion, your deepest desires on your own terms brings you greater freedom and joy than you could have ever imagined. And that is exactly what you have been seeking. Greater freedom and joy. A level of self expression that asks for nothing in return and is grounded and rooted in deep satisfaction in self.

Now re-routing, staying on your path, re-committing to your passion, is exactly what you are asked to do.

Are you up for it? Are you up for connecting so deeply and passionately with yourself that you step into the fears that leave you shaking at your knees and heart pounding?

I know you can do it. I’ve been there. It’s a conscious choice. It holds you powerful. It hold you in command of your life. It speaks to the Universe, Yes. Yes I am ready for the good in my life that I desire. The way I choose to live and embrace living.

It releases, removes and discords all the past programming that held you in the false happiness, ideas and beliefs others thrusted at you, manipulated you into, and pushed on you- even if it was in a loving kind way.

This is your time. You hold the power, your efforts are clear and solid. Now it’s up to you to follow your path, trust in your journey and step forward. There is a whole world waiting for you based on your own passion.

Guided Action. The Energy Behind Action

Guided Action: action is the fuel that leads to success.
Trust is the Key and Passion is the Fuel~
Priestess of Passion

Action can take on many different personalities for people.  It is the energy behind it that moves people, whether it be fear, inspiration, joy, challenge, false power, or other qualifying reasons.  Non- Action, from a place of lack of action, a choice to do nothing, remaining in the status quo, to choose an idea of safety and security keeps people stuck.  There’s a saying that goes ignorance is bliss.  That’s not really true.  Bliss comes through the joy, acceptance, rising to the occasion and stepping forward, I can call it towards the unknown, to create a desired outcome.

In order to live a fulfilling wholehearted life, one must be taking action. Now, finding a path to take action on that matches your level of integrity, passion, and desires is to develop a strategy and system that fuels you, that nourishes your soul and spirit from the inside out.

Guided action comes from your ability to know what you want. Everyone talks about the “bigger vision”, I say, start with one step, what do you want your foundation to look like, the ground beneath you that supports you.  For me, what this looks like is a high level Fitness Club, community centered with like minded fitness men and women.  Food that nourishes my spirit, rich and vibrant in color, sweet and juicy in texture and taste that ranges from fruits, vegetables, meats, chicken, fish, potatoes, and a limited variety of grains. A rainbow palate of color. Clients that respond, know what they want and allow me the opportunity to deliver in magical ways. Having a Fitness program that speaks through me, moving every aspect of my body mind and spirit and friends and connections that recognize, understand, value and appreciate my desire for freedom, excellence and commitment towards my goals. As these parts of my world are in place, my foundation is set.  The earth beneath me, the ground below me is fertile for all of my actions to come through my spirit, my intuitive knowing and the path that is designed for me.

What I have described here is, my choices and decisions to limit the distractions, and background noise that disrupts and interferes with my life…my work, my health, my relationships, my finances and my happiness & success.

So how do you know the difference in Action?  How do you know when it is guided action?  What I have learned through experience is there are steps to be taken, lessons to be learned to acquire wisdom and limiting beliefs to overcome.  Often, actions can be tangled in these areas. The frustration is taking the actions with trust in self, and finding you’ve repeated the pattern. Guided Action is first set in your foundation, as opposed to just randomly going for it, putting it out there.  Guided action has a “nest”,  a foundation for you to take aim from and land in.

Slow down. Take your time and act from where you are.  Allow the next step to appear, to be revealed to you, just like a seed springing toward the sun out of the ground. Unless you have things organized, and a clear space, jumping ahead of where you are, leaves you open and exposed to falling. This is what I described above as, “lessons to be learned to acquire wisdom”.  Once you have gained the wisdom, it is truly time for you to put your actions to work for you.

Look at your foundation.  What in the basics of life is working for you?  What is not?  Create the necessary plan and strategy to uplevel this area.  Uplevel means bring yourself to a higher ground, a better environment, a better situation.  Plan, and prepare- not over think.  Plan and prepare comes through knowing what you need to be in environments and situations that work for you and with you (as opposed to against you).

Once you know your plan, it may change, the important aspect is knowing where you are going, the outcome you are headed for. Take a small actionable step towards that goal or vision. Then allow.  Allow the Universe to show up with ideas, answers and all the ways it is supporting you in moving towards your goals and desires. From your choices that arise, settle and ground and Act, make a decision.  With this decision, follow through to the next step.  The whole process is designed to keep you on track.  On track for your desires, goals and dreams.

Once you take the action, this is the best part… YOU MUST SHOW UP AS OWNING IT.  You show up in that reality.  This is key and essential.  When it shows up for you, it is what you have been working towards. Often people get distracted, or not fully believing the next step that has showed up, is a part of their path. As you take the action, allow it in.  Allow this new discovery, this action to be YOUR TRUTH.

Success and Business. Gaining an edge, standing out from the crowd

Succeeding in business takes persistence, commitment and drive to succeed, while implementing an impeccable work ethic and a positive mental attitude highlights your drive to succeed. Gaining confidence, knowing your strengths and taking action towards your goals provides you the stamina necessary to get where you are going, and keeps you moving forward.

Here are 7 skills to Gain an Edge, Stand Out from the Crowd

  1. Know your goals.  Have clear definitive goals on what you want to accomplish in business such as  job title, salary, company you want to work for, and work you do. These goals give you a structure to work in, like a road map.  By staying focused on your business goals you’ll pay attention to opportunities, take action towards your goals and keep moving forward.
  2. Think outside the box.  Businesses today are looking for leaders who are willing to lead the way, to bring ideas to the table with creative thinking.  Be an asset to a company by providing them valuable ways to solve problems and come up with new ways to generate income or provide better service.
  3. Know your strengths.  Building yourself up as an asset to your company, a valuable team player, requires you to know what strengths you bring to the business. Knowing your best skills, where you shine, provides you a way to communicate and act from focus, while asking for collaboration and cooperation with others creates a  business team that leads to results. By taking action from your place of power, your strengths, you open yourself to greater confidence, clarity in your communication style and showcase your ability to lead.
  4. Stay in the game.  Take action, take initiative. Being able to consistently challenge yourself, growing with new opportunities and a willingness to be uncomfortable gives you the skills and courage to stay in the game.  Business is not about being easy, it’s about challenging yourself to be your best and making it look easy.
  5. Take chances.  One of the greatest skill sets that successful business men and women have is the ability to trust their instinct/intuition and take chances.  Chances provide you the opportunity to stretch yourself, to test your limits.  It’s gives you the experience necessary to learn. Chances lead to success and to failure and failure is an important step in the process.  It’s not failure unless you stay down.  It’s the getting up where strength, courage, inner worth and desire to succeed are produced.  The more chances you take the better you get at taking them.
  6. Use your instinct and intuition, trust it.  Instinct and intuition are an internal compass, pointing you in the direction to go. It takes skill, time, patience and practice to use them well.  Time alone, reading, meditating, working out, yoga, fishing, being in nature are some ways to provide you the resources you need to build your instinct and intuition.  Listen to your inner voice, trust in the wisdom, the actions to take and your ability to succeed.
  7. Surround yourself with like minded people.  People who succeed spend time with others who succeed, think of it as “The Success Club”.  They hold each other up, celebrate successes, build you up and know you’re on the move.  People with goals, visions and direction have no time for stories, problems or distractions. Find people who have the success you want and spend time with them, join their circle of friendship.  Attend events with other success driven people.  Go be the successful business man/woman you want to be.

Create a plan, have a vision and go out and get it.  Succeeding in business requires you to do the personal work necessary to grow, step out on a limb and take flight.  Be bold, be courageous and be the woman or man everyone wants to do business with.

Expansion. Expanding and crossing thresholds

Expansion isn’t a word you hear everyday in relation to your spirituality or health, yet expansion is an essential part of growth and progress.  The concept of expansion from a Spiritual standpoint is opening for the new to give way, to stay open, letting go of perceived notions or beliefs.  Expansion, actually, opens to the light. It reaches, stretches and knows, the light provides the necessary nourishment and nutrients for the next stage of growth.

From the beginning of life, expansion shows up in the form of a woman’s uterus and body, expanding with child. During the time of childbirth, expansion happens again, when the birth canal and vagina expands for the baby, crossing through it’s threshold.

That Is, how we are designed to go through life, expanding and crossing thresholds.

So what do we need to understand about expansion to help us live richer, calmer, fuller, more satisfying lives?

Let’s begin with, it’s not the expansion that scares us.  It’s not understanding how the application of expansion works in our favor, how it works.

Expansion will happen every time we set ourselves up to grow, to make change. There will be steps required to take, along with centering and grounding and decisions to make. It’s in these decisions, you move toward the light, opening more and more in expansion. Your decisions will be based on the present, where you are and where you are going. It’s this conscious choice of Now, that expansion happens.  This is a non-negotiable for your growth, transformation and true change to be real and lasting.

The beauty of expansion is how you mature, grow and gain through the process. More light, more love- expansion opens you, softens you and shows your true power.

Expansion challenges all parts of us, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. The greater sense of calm and clarity you have, the simpler it is to identify how to go about your expansion and stay focused towards the growth and changes you seek.

Let’s take a more precise look at what occurs in the stage of expansion. Expansion is taking action towards the new.   It brings down a shedding of the old, just like a flower reaching for the sunlight, blooming, letting go of the delicate and protective covering. Before it releases the covering and protection, take note of this, it does not let anything in! In it’s most essential phase of expansion, right before it is ready to drop its protective cover it does not let anything in, that will disturb it’s path of growth.  For you, this means you are required to have focus, precision, trust, stillness and patience plus good boundaries.  Make no mistake, this can feel intense, being in this place of in between, where your trust and faith must be greater than your fear and disbelief.

And, this is how it works in your favor.  It teaches you to grow, stretch and believe in that which is brightest and boldest, your passion and your true power to create and believe. It asks of you to show up with nothing less than your best. You see, expansion requires you, not time, energy or money. Expansion, is you letting go of the old, stretching with faith and trust in what you have been nurturing, placing your resources towards.

The actual expansion, is the process of unfolding.

Hold your vision. Hold your faith with power, conviction and love.
